sail away
the bow points north to show the way
rocking my thoughts it subtly sways
no longer grounded, i cannot stay
pull the mast
tearing through air, the main flaps
gaining speed with each attack
and with all this wind i cannot look back
the rail tips
i feel the ocean against my lips
tasting the salt, unfiltered and crisp
sea foam forming the shape of bliss
strain the sheets
with the sun on my face and sea at my feet
the boat rocks further into the deep
so this is what it feels like to be free
